THE AWARD
The International Award "Conveying Africa" aims at contributing to a more real image of Africa, reflecting the difficulties but also the hopes, the richness and diversity of its peoples and cultures, the constant commitment to development and its needs, still so pressing. To promote knowledge of a continent that is a treasure for all.
The Award therefore wishes to help shed light on the greatness of small stories: it is not about giving a naive or simplistic view of Africa, but about showing that alongside the countless difficulties there is also hope and the serious work of many individuals and organisations.
The competition, for documentary videos and video clips, is held every two years. The award ceremony of the 10th edition will be held on November 19, 2024 in Warsaw.
